Precision Water Flow MeasurementMany plants suffer from issues relating to flow accuracy. Deposits on nozzles and degradation on other flow measuring devices prohibit plant personnel from accurately calculating heat rate and plant thermal power as well as other indicators of a plant’s behavior. Often this can cause over or under power situations in nuclear power plants and inaccurate heat rate and dispatching problems in coal fired plants.
